Ο Rich Froning ήταν ο Fittest Man on Earth και πάλι.
Ο Froning στη συνέντευξη τύπου που ακολούθησε μίλησε για τις δυσκολίες που αντιμετώπισε στο Trile 3 που κατετάγη 37ος και είπε οτι ήταν δυσκολότερο από όσο το περίμενε. Όμως όπως κάθε πρωταθλητής επέστρεψε δριμύτερος στα επόμενα 10 Events και ήταν αυτός που κατέκτησε το τίτλο με 50 πόντους διαφορά από τον 2ο Mat Fraser.
